For Members
Board meetings are held after the service in the gallery on the Second Sunday each month. Meetings are open to Fellowship members. Please allow 48 hours notice to have something put on the agenda.
#1 – Sunday services & music
#2 – a tie: Pastoral care for members
& – Right relationship (honoring our UU principles with each other)
#3 – Expanding our membership & our opportunities for fellowship
#4 – Working with and supporting the board
#5 – Social action & presence in the larger community
#6 – Administrative oversight (office, phone, mail, keeping in touch)
#7 – Site search (to expand what UUFGP can offer)
#8 – Lifespan programming (for children, youth & adults)
#9 – Denominational lifelines (with the UUA & Pacific Northwest District).
The Keips will devote their time this year from the top, focusing on #1 through #3. However #4 and #6 necessarily involve them, and they’ll wrap these is as adequately as they can. And they will support the energies of fellow members engaged in the remaining goals. (For example: Marge had already committed as a member to helping a children’s R.E. program get underway, and Fred has great heart in the site search.)
What if UUFGP earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can! GoodSearch is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Click on the logo to go directly to our search page, use it just as you would any search engine, and watch the donations add up!
